Dewanti Kumari, a young woman from a small village, faced significant challenges growing up. Limited resources and a lack of opportunities made her dreams of a brighter future seem unattainable. However, her life took a transformative turn when she joined the Frontage Institute of Technology and Services (FIITS).

Dewanti enrolled in the Skill Development Program offered by FIITS, where she received specialized training in tailoring, apparel management, and entrepreneurship. The program also emphasized soft skills, problem-solving, and confidence-building, equipping Dewanti with the tools to succeed in her personal and professional life.

Initially, Dewanti struggled with self-confidence and adapting to a structured learning environment. However, with the support of skilled trainers and encouragement from her peers, she quickly excelled. During her training, she gained hands-on experience with garment manufacturing and quality control techniques, laying a strong foundation for her future career.
A Bright Future Ahead
After successfully completing her training, Dewanti secured a position as a Supervisor at KPR Mill, Tamil Nadu, where she honed her skills in managing operations and team coordination.
With the experience and savings she accumulated, Dewanti returned to her village and established her own tailoring shop. Her business not only provides for her family but also serves as a hub for local women to learn tailoring, empowering them with a means to earn a livelihood.
